عبارت ایرانیان مقیم خارج یا ایرانیان خارج از کشور(به انگلیسی: Iranian citizens abroad or Iranian/Persian diaspora)‏ به اقوام ایرانی‌تباری اطلاق می‌شود که در ایران به دنیا آمده‌اند، اما در خارج از ایران با خانواده‌هایشان زندگی می‌کنند.
کارشناسان تخمین می‌زنند که در سال ۲۰۱۰ بیش از پنج میلیون ایرانی در خارج از کشورشان به سرمی‌برده‌اند که بیشتر آن‌ها در آمریکای شمالی، اروپا، کشورهای حوزه خلیج فارس، ترکیه، استرالیا و به طور پراکنده در خاورمیانه ساکن هستند.
جمع سرمایهٔ ایرانیان مقیم خارج در سال ۲۰۰۰ به بیش از ۱٫۳ تریلیون دلار می‌رسید. در سال ۲۰۰۰، واحد مرکزی خبر در ایران اعلام کرد که ایرانیان بین ۲۰۰ تا ۴۰۰ میلیارد دلار در آمریکا، چین و اروپا سرمایه‌گذاری کرده‌اند. ولی رقم این سرمایه‌گذاری در ایران تقریباً هیچ است. پولی که گردشگران ایرانی در دوبی خرج می‌کنند بیش از ۲۰۰ میلیارد دلار تخمین زده شده (سال ۲۰۰۶). کارگران مهاجر ایرانی (در سال ۲۰۰۶) مجموعاً بیش از دومیلیارد دلار درآمد داشته‌اند.[۱]
