جان لروی هِنِسی (به انگلیسی: John LeRoy Hennessy) (زاده ۱۹۵۳[۱]) یک چهره علمی و آکادمیک در زمینه کامپیوتر در ایالات متحده میباشد. وی موسس شرکت میپس[۲] و دهمین رئیس دانشگاه استانفورد[۳] میباشد.
وی مدرک دکترای خود را در علوم کامپیوتر از دانشگاه استونی بروک گرفت و در سال ۱۹۷۷ میلادی به جمع اساتید دانشگاه استانفورد پیوست. وی در سال ۲۰۰۴، در ازای ۶۵۰۰۰ سهم از گوگل، به عضویت هیئت مدیرهٔ این شرکت در آمد. وی همچنین عضو هیئت مدیره سیسکو[۴][پیوند مرده][پیوند مرده]، آتروس [۵] و دانیل پرلس[۶] میباشد.
