نسبت انگشت دوم به انگشت چهارم به نسبت طول انگشت [[|انگشت اشاره|اشاره]] به طول انگشت حلقه است. این نسبت متاثر از آندروژن و تستوسترون در رحم است. به گونه‌ای که هرچه این نسبت کمتر باشد میزان ترشح آندروژن بیشتر است.

این نسبت یک دودیسی جنسی است: در مردان این نسبت بسیار کوچکتر از زنان است برای زنان تقریبا برابر یک است.

توزیع نسبت دو انگشت

از یک پژوهش بر روی ۱۳۶ مرد و ۱۳۷ زن:[۱]

  • مردان: به طور متوسط 0.947, انحراف معیار 0.029.
  • زنان: متوسط 0.965, انحراف معیار 0.026.

با فرض توزیع استناندارد, دهمین و نودمین درصد توزیع برای مردان 0.910 و 0.984 و برای زنان 0.932 و 0.998 هستند.
