زیست‌زمین‌شیمی
زیست‌زمین‌شیمی یا بیوژئوشیمی (به انگلیسی: Biogeochemistry) یک رشته علمی است که به مطالعه فرایندها و واکنش‌های شیمیایی، فیزیکی، زمین شناختی و زیست‌شناختی حاکم بر ترکیب محیط طبیعی (از جمله زیست کره، یخ‌کره، آبکره، خاک‌سپهر، جو و سنگ‌کره) می‌پردازد. به‌طور خاص، زیست‌زمین‌شیمی مطالعه چرخه عناصر شیمیایی مانند کربن و نیتروژن و تعامل آن‌ها با موجودات زنده است.
