دیرینمارمولکریختان (به لاتین: Paleoanguimorpha) یک کلاد از مارمولکریختان است که شامل Shinisauria (که امروزه توسط شینیسورها نمایندگی میشود) و Goannasauria (امروزه توسط بزمجهواران نمایندگی میشود که شامل خانوادههای بزمجه بیگوش و بزمجهایان است).[۱][۲][۳][۴][۵] مطالعات ریختشناسی در گذشته همچنین گلمیخپوست و پیتونومورفها را با بزمجهواران در کلاد Platynota طبقهبندی میکردند،[۶][۷] در حالی که مارمولک کروکودیل چینی به عنوان بیگانهسورید طبقهبندی میشد.[۸] کار مولکولی کنونی از این گروهبندیها پشتیبانی نمیکند و در عوض هلودرماتیدها را بیشتر به Diploglossa در گروه خواهری نومارمولکریختان مرتبط میداند، در حالی که مارمولک تمساح چینی نزدیکترین گونه زنده نسبت به بزمجهواران است.[۲][۳] پیتونومورفهایی که امروزه توسط مارها نشان داده میشوند ارتباط نزدیکی با بزمجهواران ندارند و در عوض دودمان خواهری مارمولکریختان و ایگواناسانیان در کلاد زهرداران (Toxicofera) هستند.[۱][۳]
