الههٔ شب (سومری: 𒀭𒈪، DINGIR.GE6[۱]) یکی از خداییانی بود که در پادشاهی هوری کیزوواتنا و سپس در شاموها در امپراتوری هیتی پرستش میشد. فقط نگارش نام او به شکل لوگوگرام پیدا شده و تلاشهایی برای تشخیص هویت او انجام گرفته است. بیشتر محققان چنین تصور میکنند که او حداقل تا حدی به ایشتار، شاوشکا و ایشارا شباهت داشته است. به احتمال زیاد نماد آسمان شب بوده و با رویا دیدن ارتباط داشته است.
نام[ویرایش]
نام الههٔ شب (یا خدایی شب[۲]) حدسی است زیرا فقط نوشته لوگوگرافی از آن باقی مانده است.[۳][۱]
شناسایی پیشنهادی[ویرایش]
منشا و هویت الهه شب موضوع بحث علمی است.[۴] پیوتر تاراچا او را خدایی با اصل هوری می داند.[۵]
شخصیت و شمایلنگاری[ویرایش]
الهه شب به احتمال زیاد یک نماد الهی از آسمان شب شناخته میشد.[۶] او با رویابینی نیز در ارتباط بود.[۴]
ارتباط با سایر خداییان[ویرایش]
بسیاری از شواهد موجود نشان میدهد که الهه شب به نوعی با ایشتار مرتبط بوده است.[۷]
الهه شب و پینیکیر[ویرایش]
الهه شب ارتباط نزدیکی با پینیکیر داشت.[۸] پینیکیر الههای عیلامی بود که هوریها نیز او را میپرستیدند.[۹]
پرستش[ویرایش]
الهه شب در کیزوواتنا پرستش میشد.[۱۰]
