Function overview:

The bot will create articles about all species of organisms, in the same way as it has already done on svwp, cebwp, warwp.

Function details:

The bot uses existing online databases, mainly Catalogue of Life and the IUCN Redlist, to gather data about organisms. It then uses text templates to build articles about each taxon from these data. The articles contain a few sentences of text, a taxobox template, a list or tree of subordinate taxa (if any), references, categories, interwiki, and images (if any available in Commons). It will not overwrite existing articles; if an article with the same name exists, the bot will attempt to determine whether it is about the same organism, and create an article with a disambiguation suffix otherwise.

With default settings, the bot will make the following structure:

• One article for each taxon (species, genus, family, ...). The article name will be the vernacular name if known (with redirect from scientific name), and otherwise the scientific name.
• Redirects from all known synonyms.
• Monotypic taxa are created as redirects to the single lower taxon.
• One category tree with vernacular names, starting from

• One category tree with scientific names, starting from Category:Animalia.
• A template الگو:Robotmade is placed in each article, automatically placing the article in a subcategory under Category:Robotmade articles

The same bot code has been used extensively on three other language versions (Swedish, Cebuano, Waray) already, with around 2 million articles created.
