Not Usage

Not to be used for linking to primary legislation. Sadly, Wikipedia doesn't have a template for doing that. Here's what one AnonymousDonor came up with for citation of United Kingdom legislation - effectively, treat the Acts of Parliament as a journal, with a volume every year (and numbered for that year), acts as issues (using the chapter number as the issue number), and the section and subsection numbers for pages:

Note the wikilinking the name of the act, in the standard way used on wikipedia. The URL is one of the Statute Law Database's 'friendly' URLs, which despite their name have to be painstakingly constructed by hand.
