This template is intended to simplify entering the references to source the articles on the administrative and municipal divisions of Russia, its inhabited localities, etc.

Usage

Parameters

Bolded parameters are mandatory.

• FS, or the first unnamed parameter, is the ISO 3166-2:RU code (without the "RU" part) of the federal subject to which the item being referenced belongs. For example, سرزمین آلتایی is coded as "alt"
• type1, or the second unnamed parameter, is either "adm" (administrative divisions) or "mun" (municipal divisions). The default is "adm".
• type2, or the third unnamed parameter, is either "law" (a law on the administrative/municipal division) or "list" (a list of administrative/municipal entities). The default is "law".
• district, or the fourth unnamed parameter, is the name of the administrative/municipal district, to which the administrative/municipal law/list being cited pertains. There is no default value.

Important notes
