This template returns the number of featured articles as recorded at ویکی‌پدیا:مقاله‌های برگزیده. The count at ویکی‌پدیا:مقاله‌های برگزیده is scrupulously updated and due to chronic server issues it is in general more accurate than {{PAGESINCATEGORY:Featured articles}}.
