{{BJJRank|color|color}}

The purpose of this template is to allow editors to include a colored box that visually indicates the rank of a Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner in the infobox for their article.

In most cases, notable practitioners will be degree grades and therefore have either a black (first to sixth degree), red and black (seventh degree) coral belt, red and white (eighth degree) coral belt or red (ninth to tenth degree) belt. These can be produced with the following parameters:

     {{BJJRank|black}}

     {{BJJRank|red|black}}

     {{BJJRank|red|white}}

     {{BJJRank|red}}

In the infobox, the colored box should appear first, followed in italics by the degree in abbreviated form (deg.), the name of the sport in abbreviated form (BJJ) and the name of the belt, as in the following examples:

     6th deg. BJJ black belt

     7th deg. BJJ coral belt

     8th deg. BJJ coral belt

     9th deg. BJJ red belt
