در ریاضیات, 1 − 2 + 3 − 4 + … یک سری است .مجموع این سری را می‌توان با روش سیگما و به صورت زیر نمایش داد:

$\sum _{n=1}^{m}n(-1)^{n-1}.$

این سری از نوع سری‌های بی‌پایان است و حد آن نامشخص است. در قرن ۱۸ لئونارد اویلر معادله متناقض زیر را ارائه داد:

$1-2+3-4+\cdots ={\frac {1}{4}}.$
