Saman Torabi was born in 1981, in Tehran, Iran. He has completed her academic studies in Restoration and Conservation of Cultural Heritage (M.A) at Art University of Isfahan in 2008. He is known as a famous cartoonist and caricaturist and attending in cartoon festivals around the world.Saman Torabi won his first precious cartoon prize in 2013 when he won the first prize of international Cartoon festival of Universal Tolerance in Norway. He has won more than 30 prizes in his decade activity in cartoon and caricature contests till now. His very important and prestigious prizes are Satyrykon in Poland (for three times), Aydin Dogan in Turkey and biennial of Euro-Kartoenale in Belgium. He also was member of jury in some national and international cartoon festivals like biennial of book cartoon festival of Tehran.
