گریگور شقتایاگیر "" (ارمنی: [] Error: {{Lang}}: فاقد متن (راهنما)؛ (ارمنی غربی: Գրիգոր Շղթայակիր Պատրիարք؛ انگلیسی: Grigor Šłtayakir "Širuantsi" زادهٔ ۱۶۶۹ - درگذشته ۱۷۴۹)، اهل ارمنستان بود.
زندگی‌نامه[ویرایش]
وی در ۱۶۶۹ در [[]] به دنیا آمد و در دانشگاه آمردول در باغیش (بیتلیس) تحصیل نمود. وی از 1715 تا 1719 میلادی Abbot General صومعه کاراپت مقدس تارون در شمال غرب موش شد. وی در ۱۷۴۹ در سن سالگی در [[]] درگذشت.
and later became the Abbot General of the Monastery of Surb Karapet of Taron (Northwest of Mus) from 1719 to 1715. In 1717 he was appointed patriarch of Jerusalem where he arrived only in 1721 after launching a campaign to repay the enormous debts of the patriarchate. He bore a chain for nearly a decade, until the successful conclusion of his campaign; hence his sobriquet Šłtayakir (The Chainbearer)He spent four years in Constantinople (1736-1740) defending the rights of the Armenian community in the perennial conflicts with the Greeks and Latins over the Holy places. Died in Jerusalem
