مورتون اسمیت (به انگلیسی: Morton Smith) تاریخ‌نگار و استاد تاریخ باستان اهل ایالات متحده آمریکا در دانشگاه کلمبیا بود. وی همچنین برنده جوایزی همچون کمک هزینه گوگنهایم شده بود.
