Notes on use
This template may be used to externally link to European Medicines Agency - European Public Assessment Reports (EPARs). It is a sub-template for {{Drugbox}} and necessitated by changes to the EMA website making its search URL increasingly complex.
Current usage
It requires at least one parameter, the drug's name.
As an example for the drug Viagra.
Hence: {{EMA-EPAR|Viagra}}
Gives: http://www.ema.europa.eu/ema/index.jsp?curl=/pages/medicines/landing/epar_search.jsp&murl=menus/medicines/medicines.jsp&searchkwByEnter=true&status=Authorised&keyword=Viagra&searchType=Name&jsenabled=true
The suggested implementation from a main template might be:
Hence: [{{EMA-EPAR|{{{1}}}}} link]
Gives: link for the test case of 'Viagra'
eMedicine URLs
With the EMA website having undergone internal changes, the previous search (by brand name) of:
- http://www.emea.europa.eu/humandocs/Humans/EPAR/{{{1|}}}/{{{1|}}}.htm
has changed to
- http://www.ema.europa.eu/ema/index.jsp?curl=/pages/medicines/landing/epar_search.jsp&murl=menus/medicines/medicines.jsp&searchkwByEnter=true&status=Authorised&keyword={{{!|}}}&searchType=Name&jsenabled=true
