نگارهٔ ریچارد ماکسول ایتون، مورخ اهل آمریکا

ریچارد ماکسول ایتون (به انگلیسی: Richard Maxwell Eaton) (زادهٔ ۱۹۴۰)، مورخ اهل آمریکا و استاد دانشگاه آریزونا است. او برای آثار برجسته‌اش در زمینه هندوستان پیش از ۱۸۰۰ و همچنین برای آثاری در زمینه نقش صوفیان، برده‌داری و تاریخ فرهنگی پیشامدرن هندوستان، شناخته می‌شود. عمدهٔ تحقیقات وی مرتبط بر دکن Deccan، مرزهای بنگلادش و اسلام است.
