Descrierea stemei

Stema comunei Târnova, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat de un brâu de argint, undat, compus din trei valuri. În partea superioară, pe fond verde, se află două oi afrontate, de argint. În partea inferioară, pe fond roșu, este reprezentată o crenguță cu două mere și două frunze, de aur. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Semnificațiile elementelor însumate

Oile semnifică ocupația locuitorilor zonei, creșterea animalelor, în mod special a ovinelor. Brâul undat simbolizează râul Bârzava și lacul de acumulare Secu. Merele de aur reprezintă bogăția pomicolă a zonei. Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.

  • (f) simple facts and data.

Also, according to Chapter 10 Article 85 Paragraph 2,

  • The photographs of letters, deeds, documents of any kind, technical drawings and other similar papers shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright.

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.
