Purpose[ویرایش]
This template facilitates the citation of articles from Appletons' Cyclopædia of American Biography. It uses {{cite encyclopedia}} in its implementation. It provides for links to the Wikisource project Appletons' Cyclopædia of American Biography, but also links to other sources (for example گوگل بوکز), or no link at all can be used.

The first is set if the parameter vb=x is set (or the template {{Appletons'}} is used), otherwise the second category is set unless the parameter notaref=x is set.
