a Between 1945–53, the President of the Presidium of the Assembly was also the de jure رئیس کشور of Yugoslavia. From 14 January 1953 the president of the assembly was no longer head of state, but was succeeded in that role by the office of the President of Yugoslavia which was first occupied by یوسیپ بروز تیتو، and held by him up to his death in 1980.

ایوان ریبار (انگلیسی: Ivan Ribar؛ زاده ۲۱ ژانویهٔ ۱۸۸۱ – درگذشته ۲ فوریهٔ ۱۹۶۸) سیاستمدار اهل کرواسی بود. او از ۲۹ دسامبر ۱۹۴۵ تا ۱۴ ژانویه ۱۹۵۳ اولین رئیس‌جمهور یوگسلاوی بود.

ایوان ریبار در ۲ فوریه ۱۹۶۸، در سن ۸۷ سالگی درگذشت.
