IMPORTANT FEATURE
Using
{{PD-US-1923-abroad|out_of_copyright_in=YEAR}}
will automatically ask for the image to be moved to commons at the appropriate time. Remember that copyright expires at the start of the year after. For instance, an author who died in 1955 in a country with a copyright term of life+70 goes out of copyright - not 70 years after his date of death in 2025, but at the start of 2026.
