Dr. George Khoury, known as Abouna George Khoury, was born in Nazareth in the Holy Land in 1954, married to Advocate Amal Khoury, and has 3 kids: Marianna. Mario amd Mike. Dr. Khoury is Doctor in Pastoral Theology and has PhD. in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Khoury, is a known thinker, he is an Israeli citizenm originally aN Arab melkite christian, was for many years judge and president of the family religious court of all Galilee, he worked also as regional psychologist and regional inspectore for the religious education in the Ministry of education in Israel. Rev. kHOURY is also a Eastern Catholic priest, was the parish priest of Nazareth where he served with diligence and love. Rev. Khoury is peace builder, very active in advancing interfaith dialogue, he was for 4 years a board member of the UNITED RELIGIONS INITIATIVES OF San Francisco, a international organization for interfaith dialogue. Dr. Khoury, in 2005, immigrated to USA with his family where he is serving as priest and lecturing at the university.
