موآ[۱][۲] (به انگلیسی: moa) به ۱۱ گونه (در شش نسل)[۳] از پرندگانی گفته میشد که توان پرواز نداشتند و بومی زلاندنو بودند. دو تا از غول پیکرترین گونههای آنها دینورنیس جیگانتوس (Dinornis giganteus) و دینورنیس نوائزلاندیه (Dinornis novaezelandiae) بود که بلندی آنها به ۳٫۶ متر (۱۲ پا) میرسید. آنها گردنی کشیده و وزنی نزدیک به ۲۳۰ کیلوگرم (۵۱۰ پوند) داشتند. موآ از گروه سینهپهنان و از راستهٔ دینورنیتیفورم ها (Dinornithiformes) بود.[۳] این یازده گونهٔ آنها در میان سینهپهنان، تنها پرندگانی بود که هیچ ردپا یا نشانهای از بال در آن ها نبود. این پرندگان گیاهخوار بودند و در جنگلهای زلاندنو زندگی میکردند.
