ویلیام جان نیسون معروف به لیام نیسون (متولد ۷ ژوئن ۱۹۵۲) بازیگر ایرلندی میباشد.

او بیشتر به خاطر ایفای نقش اسکار شیندلر در فیلم فهرست شیندلر (۱۹۹۳) ساخته استیون اسپیلبرگ شهرت دارد.
از فیلمهای معروف او میتوان به مرد تاریکی ، جنگ ستارگان اپیزود اول: تهدید شبح (۱۹۹۹)، ملکوت آسمان (۲۰۰۵) ، بتمن آغاز میکند (۲۰۰۵) و دو قسمت ربوده شده (فیلم) اشاره کرد.
زندگی شخصی [ویرایش]
او در سال ۱۹۹۴ پس از فیلم نل با ناتاشا ریچاردسون ازدواج کرد. این پیوند تا زمان مرگ ریچاردسون در ۱۸ مارچ ۲۰۰۹ ادامه داشت.
در ژانویه ۲۰۱۲ مجله سان ادعا کرد، که نیسون دین خود را از مسحیت به اسلام تغییر دادهاست. بر اساس گفتهها، وی پس از شنیدن صدای اذان در استانبول ترکیه این کار را انجام دادهاست.[۱] این مسئله بعداً تکذیب شد.
