سعید امیرارجمند (۵ دی ۱۳۲۵، تهران) استاد ممتاز جامعه‌شناسی در دانشگاه ایالتی نیویورک در دانشگاه استونی بروک است. او دکتری جامعه‌شناسی را در سال ۱۹۸۰ از دانشگاه شیکاگو دریافت کرده‌است.

او بنیانگذار و رئیس انجمن مطالعات جوامع فارسی زبان و همچنین سردبیر مجله مطالعات فارسی است.
