This template is a general-purpose template for ویکیپدیا:درخواست بازرسی کاربر, which is intended to replace the old RFCU and SPIclose templates as well as formally deprecate the old "code letter" system of CheckUser requests.
The template takes only one parameter, which is optional. Details are given below.

When a parameter is placed as shown above, it will display the following:

| decline or declined | Category:SPI cases awaiting administration |  – An SPI clerk has declined a request for ویکیپدیا:بازرسان کاربر, and the case is now awaiting administration. |
| CUdecline or CUdeclined | Category:SPI cases awaiting administration |  – A ویکیپدیا:بازرسان کاربر has declined a request for ویکیپدیا:بازرسان کاربر, and the case is now awaiting administration. |
| endorse or endorsed | Category:SPI cases awaiting a CheckUser |  – An SPI clerk has endorsed a request for ویکیپدیا:بازرسان کاربر. A CheckUser will review the case in a timely manner. |
| hold | Category:SPI requests for pre-CheckUser review |  – An SPI clerk has placed this case on hold pending further information or developments. |
| cuhold | Category:SPI cases currently in progress | – An ویکیپدیا:بازرسان کاربر has placed this case on hold pending further information or developments. |
| moreinfo | Category:SPI requests for pre-CheckUser review |  – A user has requested ویکیپدیا:بازرسان کاربر, but more information is needed for an SPI clerk to make a determination as whether or not to endorse. |
| inprogress or checking | Category:SPI cases currently in progress |  – A ویکیپدیا:بازرسان کاربر is in the process of checking relevant users. |
| checked or completed | Category:SPI cases awaiting administration |  – A ویکیپدیا:بازرسان کاربر completed a check on relevant users in this case, and it is now awaiting administration and close. |
| relist or relisted | Category:SPI cases awaiting a CheckUser |  – An SPI clerk has relisted this case for a ویکیپدیا:بازرسان کاربر to make another check. |
| close | Category:SPI cases pending close |  – This SPI case is closed and will shortly be archived by an SPI clerk or ویکیپدیا:بازرسان کاربر. |

Categorization will be suppressed if this template is transcluded on any Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/SPI page or subpage or any page that is not a subpage.
- Template suppression
While SPI clerks are encouraged to remove this template before moving a case into an SPI case's /Archive page, this template, including any categorization, will be suppressed if attempted to be transcluded on said /Archive page.
